Still, these are no Magic Kingdom fireworks. Just like the rest of the park has been slowly tiptoeing towards including Disney characters, HarmonioUS will be an all-out embrace. Set to a stirring playlist of beloved Disney songs sung by a global ensemble of 240 artists in more than a dozen languages, Epcot’s Harmonious will incorporate not just fireworks, but fountains, dramatic lighting, spectacular visual effects, and so much more. Harmonious, Epcot’s new fireworks spectacular, celebrates that unifying force. And through it all, Disney songs have been right there with them every step of the way. HarmonioUS (Coming October 1, 2021)ĭisney movies have been uniting the world for generations. That means that you can spend more time doing things you enjoy, like going on rides or trying delicious things, and less time doing things you don’t, like sitting in one spot watching everyone else have fun. In other words, while the other shows benefit from a front-row view of the lagoon, Epcot Forever can be easily seen from throughout World Showcase and much of the rest of Epcot. Unlike its predecessor and, as far as we can tell, its successor too, Epcot Forever is all about the fireworks and lasers. And throughout the show, you’ll be treated to the sounds of Epcot through the years and into the future, with songs from past and present Epcot attractions providing the soundtrack. Each act of the show is centered around a different, downright Epcotian theme: innovation, exploration, imagination, and celebration. While Harmonious (and IllumiNations before it) will be about uniting the people of the world, Epcot Forever is a celebration of the theme park it calls home. After that, you can join the masses on your way back to your car or resort. Epcot fireworks shows usually run around 12 minutes long. In other words, be sure to double-check the park hours before making your advance reservation so you don’t end up upset. Typically, the fireworks begin at 9pm or 10pm depending on what time of year you visit. The Epcot fireworks are held every night right before the park closes. In the meantime, however, you can also experience Epcot Forever, the park’s temporary nighttime spectacular. Already being tested on World Showcase Lagoon, the fireworks show promises to tug on the heartstrings in a way that only Disney can. Although some are still mourning the closing of IllumiNations on September 30, 2019, we’re less than three short months away from the opening of the all-new HarmonioUS. About the Epcot Fireworks Shows: Epcot Forever & HarmoniousĪs of July 1, 2021, Disney World fireworks are back, and things are looking especially bright over at Epcot. Please refer to My Disney Experience or the Disney World website for the most up-to-date information. Private fireworks cruises have recently returned and are available for booking. Keep in mind that due to COVID-19, some suggestions below are temporarily unavailable including Tokyo Dining, Monsieur Paul, the Epcot Forever Dining Package, and the Frozen Ever After Dessert Party at Epcot World Showcase. So, if you’re going to be visiting Epcot for the Food & Wine Festival, over the 50 th anniversary celebration, and beyond, read on for our list on where to watch the Epcot fireworks, along with some helpful tips. As you ooh and ahh over the twinkling lights, you start to forget about ridiculously long lines and brutally hot temperatures for a moment and just enjoy the magic of the day.Īlthough the Epcot fireworks can be enjoyed throughout much of the park (and outside the park too!), getting the best views of the show takes some planning. I don’t know whether it’s the booze or food comas from all the eating and drinking around the world, or the fact that the Epcot fireworks look a whole lot like pixie dust, but one thing is certain. And the same can be said for watching the nightly fireworks at Epcot. That little extra something that makes the whole thing feel special. If a Disney World vacation was an ice cream sundae (from Beaches & Cream, of course), then the nightly fireworks would be the sprinkles.
